These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") govern your use of the MakeMyUtsav platform ("Platform", "we", "our", or "us"), operated by Jyoti Events Service Private Limited.
By accessing or using the platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Platform Overview
MakeMyUtsav is an online marketplace that connects customers with independent vendors providing event-related services such as decorations and other event arrangements.
We act solely as a facilitator and do not provide services directly.
2. Eligibility
By using the platform, you confirm that:
- You are at least 18 years of age
- You have the legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement
- All information provided by you is accurate and complete
3. Nature of Services (Important Disclaimer)
- MakeMyUtsav does not provide event services directly
- All services are provided by independent third-party vendors
- The vendor is solely responsible for service quality, timely delivery, and execution
4. Booking Process
Customers can browse and request services through the platform. Booking is confirmed once a vendor accepts the request and payment is completed. Customers must provide accurate details including event date and time, location, and service requirements.
5. Pricing & Payments
- Prices displayed on the platform are determined by MakeMyUtsav
- Payment must be made through the platform
- Platform may charge a service fee
- We reserve the right to modify pricing at any time before booking confirmation
6. Customer Responsibilities
Customers agree to:
- Provide accurate booking details
- Ensure access to the service location
- Cooperate with vendors during service
- Maintain respectful behavior
- Have proper permission to use the venue
- Have electric wire extension if required
- Venue cleanliness is not our responsibility
- Ensure proper shading/protection in case of rain/wind
8. Service Level & Responsibility Disclaimer
- MakeMyUtsav is only a technology platform
- We do not guarantee quality of service, timeliness, or vendor behavior
- All service-related responsibilities lie solely with the vendor
9. Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, MakeMyUtsav shall not be liable for service failure by vendors, delays or cancellations, damage to property, personal injury, or any loss arising from service execution. Vendor shall be solely liable for any damage caused to the customer. In any case, MakeMyUtsav's liability shall not exceed the platform fee charged for the booking.

11. Prohibited Activities
Customers shall not misuse the platform, provide false information, engage in fraudulent activities, or harass vendors.
12. Suspension & Termination
MakeMyUtsav reserves the right to suspend or terminate user accounts, cancel bookings, or restrict access in case of policy violations, fraudulent activity, or misuse of platform.
13. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless MakeMyUtsav, its parent company, employees, and affiliates from any claims, damages, or liabilities arising from your misuse of the platform, violation of these Terms, or disputes with vendors.
14. Force Majeure
MakeMyUtsav shall not be liable for failure or delay caused by events beyond reasonable control, including natural disasters, government restrictions, strikes, or pandemics.
15. Dispute Resolution
In case of any dispute, parties shall first attempt to resolve the matter amicably within 30 days. If unresolved, disputes shall be referred to the governing body.
16. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
These Terms shall be governed by the laws of India. Courts in Bangalore, Karnataka shall have exclusive jurisdiction or the location decided by us.
17. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of updated Terms.
